ACCEPTANCE: By completing the subscription process, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted the terms and conditions listed below. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between the customer and the EDEN project and becomes effective from the date of online subscription.
Subscription Terms & Conditions
EDEN – Monthly Subscription Agreement for Individuals
This agreement governs the monthly subscription to the EDEN project,
provided by Balamb S.r.l., headquartered in Nola (NA), via Polvica 24,

email info@balamb.it, hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”.
The Subscriber is identified through the data entered during the online subscription activation process or through information otherwise communicated and agreed upon with the Provider through official channels.
Introduction
The Provider has developed the EDEN project, a digital and educational cooperation platform that uses immersive technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, for educational, social, and impact-driven purposes.
The monthly subscription allows the Subscriber to receive a Meta Quest 3S VR headset and gain access to the project platform.
By joining the project, the Subscriber agrees to contribute financially for a minimum period of 36 months.
Art. 1 – Scope of the Agreement
This agreement regulates the conditions of the monthly subscription, which requires the payment of €35.00 per month, VAT included, in exchange for access to the services and materials provided within the EDEN project.
Art. 2 – Subscription and Payment Methods
The Subscriber agrees to pay the monthly fee through recurring payments using credit/debit card, direct bank debit, PayPal, or other online payment systems indicated by the Provider.
The first payment is made upon activation of the subscription. Subsequent charges will occur monthly according to the selected payment method.
Any technical changes regarding payment timing or methods will be communicated by the Provider with adequate notice.
Art. 3 – Duration and Renewal
The subscription has a minimum duration of 36 months, with automatic renewal unless cancellation is communicated at least 30 days before the expiration date.
In case of renewal, the Provider may offer technological updates, platform improvements, and, where applicable, replacement of the VR headset with newer models.
Art. 4 – Rights and Obligations
The Provider agrees to deliver the Meta Quest 3S headset and provide access to EDEN’s digital educational content.
The Subscriber agrees not to transfer the headset to third parties, to use it responsibly, and to comply with the usage conditions of the EDEN platform.
Art. 5 – Termination and Cancellation
In case of non-payment of at least three consecutive installments, the Provider may suspend services and request the return of the VR headset.
In the event of early cancellation before the end of the minimum 36-month term, the Subscriber must return the headset. No refund of previously paid amounts will be provided.
Art. 6 – VR Headset Warranty
The Meta Quest 3S VR headset supplied to the Subscriber is covered by the legal warranty of conformity provided under applicable consumer protection laws, as well as by the manufacturer’s commercial warranty according to Meta’s terms and conditions.
The warranty exclusively covers manufacturing and conformity defects, provided the device is used correctly and according to the manufacturer’s instructions and EDEN project guidelines.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- improper or unauthorized use;
- impacts, falls, tampering, or unauthorized repairs;
- normal wear and tear or accidental damage;
- damage caused by liquids, electrical surges, or incorrect usage.
In case of malfunction covered by warranty, the Subscriber must promptly notify the Provider, who will provide instructions for assistance or replacement procedures.
The Provider shall not be held responsible for service interruptions resulting from maintenance, repair, or replacement procedures carried out by the manufacturer or authorized service centers.
Art. 7 – Transparency and Social Allocation of Resources
The Provider guarantees maximum transparency in the management of financial resources collected through the EDEN project.
The Subscriber acknowledges and accepts that 40% of the monthly subscription amount will be allocated by the Provider to support associations, non-profit organizations, and partner entities operating in vulnerable communities and underserved educational contexts in Italy and developing countries.
This allocation does not constitute a direct donation from the Subscriber, but rather a business choice made by the Provider within its socially driven economic model.
The Provider commits to periodically publishing reports and updates regarding resource allocation, beneficiary partners, and the social impact generated by the project.
Information may be published through the official website, the EDEN platform, or other institutional communication channels.
Art. 8 – Personal Data Processing
Subscriber personal data will be processed exclusively for administrative, contractual, fiscal, and support purposes, in compliance with GDPR regulations and applicable laws.
Data may be shared with authorized third parties involved in payment processing, technical services, or contractual execution.
The Subscriber may exercise all rights provided by applicable privacy regulations, including access, correction, deletion, limitation, objection, and data portability.
Art. 9 – Jurisdiction
Any dispute related to the interpretation, execution, or termination of this agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Nola (NA), Italy, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
Art. 10 – Applicable Law
For matters not expressly regulated by this agreement, reference shall be made to the applicable provisions of Italian civil and consumer law.
Online Acceptance
By selecting the acceptance checkbox and completing the subscription activation procedure, the Subscriber declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted this agreement.
This document constitutes a valid and binding agreement between the Subscriber and Balamb S.r.l.. A copy may be sent to the email address provided during activation.

The subscription provides access to the EDEN educational platform, the virtual campus, and immersive educational content.
The subscription also includes the supply of VR headsets intended for educational use.
The subscription fee is €60/month (VAT included).
3. Duration
The subscription has a minimum duration of 36 months, with automatic renewal unless cancelled.
4. Usage
The services and devices must be used exclusively for educational and training purposes.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through authorized recurring methods such as bank transfer, credit/debit card, or direct debit.
6. VR Headsets
The devices must be used responsibly and under the institution’s supervision. Any damage caused by improper use may result in additional charges.
7. Early Termination
In the event of cancellation before the end of the 36-month minimum term:
- the VR headsets must be returned;
- no refund of previously paid amounts will be provided.
8. Transparency
EDEN guarantees transparency regarding the use of resources and the social impact generated by the project.
9. Personal Data
Personal data will be processed in compliance with GDPR regulations for administrative and contractual purposes.
10. Jurisdiction
The Court of Nola (NA), Italy, shall have jurisdiction over any disputes related to this agreement.

5. Payments
Recurring payments are processed automatically via credit/debit card, PayPal, or bank direct debit.
6. VR Headsets
The devices must be used with proper care. Any damage or failure to return the devices may result in additional charges.
7. Early Termination
In the event of cancellation before the end of the 36-month minimum term:
- the VR headset must be returned;
- no refund of previously paid amounts will be provided.
8. Transparency & Social Impact
EDEN allocates part of its revenues to educational and social initiatives and periodically publishes updates regarding the impact generated through the project.
9. Personal Data
Personal data will be processed in compliance with GDPR regulations for administrative and contractual purposes.
10. Jurisdiction
The Court of Nola (NA), Italy, shall have jurisdiction over any disputes related to this agreement.
